It may look bad on paper but really a CP3 trade to New Jersey is pretty good. But I doubt that Chris Paul is going to go to the Nets after the Hornets are hiring a new coach that Paul wanted. The way the trade would play out would be by the Nets absorbing their salary cap space, the Hornets get the No. 3, most likely Favors, and then the Nets might give Yi Jianlian, Courtney Lee, or Terrence Williams. This could work because the Nets are about 3 steps back from getting LeBron since they didn't get John Wall at the number one pick.
