Celtics coach Doc Rivers confirmed Wednesday that Kendrick Perkins won’t play in Game 7 against the Lakers on Thursday due to multiple sprained ligaments in his right knee. Rasheed Wallace or Glen Davis are expected to start.
After Bynum tweaked his knee in the 3rd quarter he told coach Phil Jackson to take him out of the game. He is expected to have surgery right after the season. The Lakers hope he will play in Game 7.
