Was He Worth It?

Ron Artest as we all know is a great basketball player. He isn't known for his offense, but more of tight-lock down defense. So far he has locked Paul Pierce up, and Paul could only score with Artest out of the game or on free throws. Artest went from zero to hero with one game winning put back off of a Kobe Bryant airball against the Suns in game 6 of the WCF. But Artest has been struggling in the Finals so far. He had 15 points in Game 1 but in Game 2 he took 10 shots and missed nine. In Game 2 he had 6 points and 2 steals.

Artest has been on the Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, and now the Los Angeles Lakers. This is the first time in his career he has been to the NBA Finals, and he needs to step up his game offensively in order for the Lakers to win another title. He always reminds the reporters that he was shooting 40 percent from three earlier this season, but he is just struggling. Maybe tonight Ron will step up so the Lakers can get a game in Boston.
